Poker shootouts: ready, aim – poker!

Shootouts are a twist on the standard multi-table tournament format. Instead of the tables being collapsed as players get knocked out, the tournament is played in rounds.

A Shootout tournament can be 1, 2, 3 or 4 rounds depending on how many players enter.

• You will only play against the other players who started at your table. Tables will not be collapsed and players will not be moved between tables
• You play poker as normal with players getting knocked out when they lose all their chips
• If you’re one of last three players left at your table you get a cash prize and go through to the next round. Well done!
• You take your stack of chips with you to the next round. So if you’ve got a big stack of chips that’s a double well done!
  

• Round 4 is played like a normal multi-table tournament. As players are knocked out, tables are collapsed and players are moved around until there’s one table left – the final table
• Prizes in round 4 are paid out in the same way as a normal multi-table tournament
  
  

Number of players: 110

This round will begin with 11 tables, with 10 players on each. The round will finish when there are three players left at each table. There will be 11 1st place finishers, 11 2nd place finishers and 11 3rd place finishers. All these players (33 in total) will get a prize and go through to round 2.

This round begins with four tables: three tables with eight players and one table with nine players. The round will finish when there are three players left at each table. There will be four 1st place finishers, four 2nd place finishers and four 3rd place finishers. All of these players (12 players in total) will get paid and advance to round 3.

This round begins with two tables of six players. The round will finish when there are three players left at each table. There will be two 1st place finishers, two 2nd place finishers and two 3rd place finishers. All of these players (six players in total) will get paid and advance to round 4.
